Project Overview
I met with a client to discuss the branding on a fictional restaurant that would be opening. The restaurant was fictitious but the client was very much real, we met once a week.  The client discussed with myself and a group of designers what they were looking for in terms of theme, branding and design. Weekly critiques and updates were given. At the end of the 5 week process a designer was chosen to be the best design that would move forward. My designs were the ones chosen.
My Contributions
The ideas for a vintage 50s diner came from the client but the designs came from me. Each week the designs were tweaked based upon the clients input. All elements and designs were created by me.
What follows is three stylesapes that were presented to the client after their initial idea of the restaurant was presented. Each stylescape follows the ideas for the 50s themed hotdog restaurant but were each designed to focus on different aspects of the iconic era. A stylescape helps the client and the designer get an idea for what in in each others head. It is a basic collage of the overall feel the designer will be putting into the design. The second style was chosen by the client to be the basis of the final design.
